Housing Market Showing Signs of Recovery

The housing market in the U.S. is showing signs of recovery. March and April had sales growth as well as price increases in most markets across the country. Sales were 10% higher in April 2012 compared to April 2011. Median home prices in Florida increased from $166,000 last year to $188,000 this year. Existing home sales rose 3.4% from March to April. All indications are pointing to a recovering housing market.

With existing homes for sale at a 5-year-low, now is a good time to list your home for sale. Homes that are priced right in the Seattle area market are receiving multiple offers. There are a lot of home owners who would like to sell their homes, but continue to hear that the market is taking a beating. I think we have heard enough bad news about the market.
